Paying rent on time

Q: What happens if the tenant doesn’t pay the rent on time?
A: We monitor rental payments frequently and quickly identify any tenants who have not paid their rent. We then use strict arrears control procedure including phone calls, personal contact, emails and reminder letters to ensure the tenants pay their rentals. The key to arrears management is systematic, timely and frequent monitoring of rent payments. If they don’t respond to these reminders we serve them a further warning letter, explaining that if they fail to pay they will be served with a Termination Notice which gives them limited time to pay the arrears or vacate the premises.
